T and H pad Calculator

This JavaScript audio attenuator calculator will provide resistor values for unbalanced T-pads, and for balanced H-pads. Use the closest 1% tolerance resistors to the values shown. Attenuators beyond 40dB are not recommended. Type in the values for input impedance, output impedance and the desired attenuation then push the calculate button, and the results will show up in the tables below. Do not input data into the tables. If you get negative resistor values, you need a buffer amplifier between the two devices.
